Seeking information on ancestors of Sarah Leotha Ward
born Oct 1870 in Missouri, believed she
died in Marion County Hannibal City Missouri.
Unsure of death date, but it was after 1930.
Sarah's mother may have been a McCartney or a Poor.
These names are written in a prayer book of daughter Inez's.
writing says book was a gift from Grandmother McCartney.
Leotha is a family name, suppossedly given to a women in each generation.
1900 census says Sarah's mother and father born Indiana.
Sarah Married 1-Albert Young about 1888.
Sarah and Albert had 6 sons (1 died young) and 1 daughter.
1 son born MO.1890, other sons born ILLINOIS. 1892-1899,
daughter born MO. 1912.
Sarah+Albert are together with sons in the 1900 IL. census.
Daughter Inez was born in Hannibal MO 1912.
Deat Cert. shows Albert Young died in Hannibal, MO. 1918
Sarah is with ?2-William Noel, and 1 son, 1 grandson,
and her daughter Inez, in the 1930 MO. census.
