Pat -
I'm from California. My great grandmother was Mary McCartin Kearns. From information I got from my mother, she was born in 1850 in Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim. Her parents were Patrick and Honora (McLoughlin) McCartin. She came to the US (Pennsylvania) around 1866 and married Thomas Kearns. According to my information, she had three brothers and three sisters. Does this information tie into what you have that might connect our McCartins?
