I am trying to find information on my gggrandfather Dennis McCarthy. He was born in 1775,married Johanna Dillon in 1800 and came to Canada in 1825 on the Peter Robinson ship Fortitude. They were from Mitcheltown, Cork, Ireland in the parish of Brigown. Their children were Mary, Owen, Patrick, John, William(my ggrandfather),Johanna and Ellen. They settled in Douro, Ontario, Canada. Thanks for any info that may be out there.
