Both Col. Frederick Hambright and his son Major Frederick Hambright, who died 1 Aug. 1844, are buried in Old Shiloh Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The cemetery is not now in a pasture, but is in a wooded area off Elm Rd. outside of Grover, NC. It is owned by the Shiloh Presbyterian Church. Recently, the power company which owns land around the cemetery erected a fence around the cemetery.

Aholibamah McCarter was married to John, son of Andrew McCarter Sr. She was a Patterson and that is why she is buried at Shiloh. There are a number of Pattersons buried there. All graves in the cemetery are quite old.
