In the last couple weeks I have been helping my husband do a little research on his family.
Today I came across on Ancestry.com that you look at free on-line photos (just about 200 of them). I was looking at the McCarter photos and came across that someone had placed a copy of a newspaper clipping for the engagement of a Carla Janine Vandi to a William Albert Brown in 1973.
Then there is a copy of a newspaper clipping regarding their wedding ceremony and it states that in attendance was Waunita Brown of Amarillo, Texas and a Mrs. Robert Hughes of Hereford, Texas - also 1973.
Under both these items is a copy of a photo of the grave marker for Waunita Marler 1923 - 1990. Are you familiar with these photos on Ancestry.com? If not, I thought I would let you know.
I posted a posting on the Marler Genforum that you were looking for information on your father James Brown's mother Waunita McCarter, who was married to Albert Little Brown. Is that correct? Did Waunita marry a Marler.
Again, I thought I would let you know.
