I am hoping that someone can lend some assistance. I am trying to find information on siblings and parents/ancestors of Jesse McCarter, born 1813 in TN and moved to MO (died in Dent Co.MO).
Based on my research it looks like I trace a path from my great-grandfather Charles McCarter (b 2/22/1879 Texas Co, MO, d 1/25/1956 Butler Co, MO, md Clearicy Pyatt {also spelled Piatt} 1/29/1911) to William McCarter (b 1/6/1842 TN, d 6/10/1923 Dent Co, MO, md Emaline Conway) to Jesse McCarter (b 1813 TN md Margaret (Peggy) Dunn 5/6/1835 Rhea Co, TN).
I have also seen Jesse’s name spelled Jessie and listed as Jess A. I believe they are all the same person. Thanks
