Hi!
Okay. Ca. 1769/1770 is the earliest date to calculate because the census taker listed William McCarter (1830 Rhea County, TN Census) in the age group 50/60. Yet you can also calculate 1770/1780. Also, teens did marry at very young ages many years ago. No different then a girl giving birth at age 12 today and her boyfriend is only 14/15/16 years old - in some cases.
