I have no McCarron links to Ohio that I know of and my ggf McCarron and his siblings definitely came from Tyrone, but thanks.

My earliest known McCarron ancestor was Felix McCarron of Dromore parish. He and his wife Anna McMenamin lived in the townland of Glennan had 10 or 11 children, of whom at least six sons and two daughters came to the USA, all settling in Lowell, Mass. The only one who seems to have taken his family out of the state was Joseph. He and his family seem to have moved to southern California in the late 1940s or early 1950s, primarily based on voting registers and death records I've found. With persistence, I seem to be able to come up with a couple of new cousins every year, but so far no success with the California McCarrons.
