I am still looking for the parents of Patrick McCarron, also known as Peter McCarn. Born in Ireland around 1824, went to Prince Edward Island, where, according to the PEI 1881 census, lived on Lot 26 He emigrated to the US about 1883. Married Ellen McGuigan, also born in Ireland, in 1831, and the ceremony was witnessed by a Rose McCarron. He died in Biddeford, Maine in 1909.
