Hi Kendra. My name is Pauline, my mother,Philomena was your great grandfather, Hugh 11 niece. As Bridget your great great grandmother was my mothers aunt, her sister, Mary Kate Pye was my mother's mother, my grandmother. Therefore you are a third cousin of mine. I think I've worked that out correctly!
Mary Kate and Bridget were born in Sligo in a place called Carrownamadoo, which is at the bottom of Benbulben.I have photos of the old family house which another cousin sent me from USA. I have been tracing the family tree on my mothers side, very interesting the Pye family. They originally came over from England to Ireland after the Civil War, 17th century. They were granted the right to buy land at a reduced price as they had helped in the campaign with Cromwell! But luckily my mother's side is Catholic, but we have cousins, Pye's in Kinlough, near Redbrae!
Would be nice to hear from you. I tried your email about 18mths ago but you never replied.
