Hi, Let me start this by saying my grandmother's name was Georgia McCants. She lived in Monroe County Alabama, or specifically Natchez Al. Every 2 yrs we have a Burgess, Locke, McCants Family Reunion. In my 1988 Family Reunion journal, Oliver McCants is listed as a family member. However, the only information given was his birth date, March 1874. My Great,Great Grandad was James (Jeams) Mccants and his dad name was Reese McCants. If this sounds like it may be the same family, let me know, and I'll give you the information I have. By the way, there was a McCants Family Reunion July 2-4 1993 in Brewton Alabama.The family reunion was attended by Charlie McCants descendants and others. Charlie McCants was my Great,Great Uncle.
