My grgrgrandmother Margaret McCann b. abt 1810 (m. Thomas Whitfield) came from Dungannon, Tyrone. So, too, her parents, Henry McCann and Molly McGee. That's not far from Armagh. Further. They were Catholic and Armagh was the seat (see) of the Catholic Faith in North Ireland.
