Additional info on S A D McCann b Illinois d Oregon

I find S A D stands for Stephen A Douglas McCann, b Jefferson Co. Ill abt 1856, moved to Oregon in 1880's. The obit gives information on his (then)wife Josephine. Says 4 daughters, 2 sons,(one of these is Robert Edmond Lee McCann, I believe) and sister Mary Bliss of Fairacres, where "Douglas" as I had known of him lived also. I find no reference to Martha who was listed as mother of Robert McCann.....Is Josephine his 2nd wife?
Grateful for clues.
