Annabelle McCann born about 1832 Belfast and married in Armagh 1856

I am looking for information about my great-great grandmother and her family.

Her name was Annabelle McCann. The best information I have at this time indicates that she was born in Belfast, County Antrim about 1832. She married William Breen at the Church of Ireland in Rich Hill, County Armagh on Dec 4, 1856.

The marriage certificate indicates her father's name was Terrence. I don't have a copy of the marriage licence in hand yet (working on it) but it indicates a townland for her may have been Clonroot which is near Rich Hill and Drumard (Jones).

I believe William and Ann resided in Clonroot before they left. I can see William listed on the the Giffith's Valuation for that location, but no McCann's.

William was a Linen Weaver and the son of Henry Breen and Isabella [Riddell] Breen. Henry's townland location was Drumard [Jones] in Kilmore Parish, County Armagh, near Rich Hill.

William left Ireland about 1868. He sent for Annabelle (also known as Ann or Annie) and their 6 children in 1871 and they settled in Essex County, Ontario, Canada.

Does anyone have anyinformation with regard to Annabelle, her parent's or siblings?

I have additional information I'd be willing to share and would appreciate any help that could be given.

Best Regards!

Bart Breen
