Thank you for replying. With McCance not being a popular surname then there must be a connection somewhere with your family and mine in St. Thomas. I know nothing more about John McCANCE. I am working on trying to find films etc. to order for St. Thomas.

John's death registration has him being born in Ontario. I'm guessing there is family of his in St. Thomas. He lived in the states for awhile and then was back in St. Thomas to have a bunch of his children. His wife doesn't have a connection with St. Thomas as far as I can see.

Keep in contact. If you find anything let me know and I'll do the same.

Thanks again for replying,

B.C., Canada
