Seeking parentage and family information of two brothers: John H. McCall and James McCall of NYC (Manhattan)-probably born about 1800 (+/-)
John H. MCall md in 1821 NYC Eliz. M. BOYD, dau. of Dr. Thomas BOYD (b1772 Albany, NY d1856)and Sarah GRAHAM. Thomas Boyd was s/o of Hamiltion Boyd (b1777 d1822 Albany, NY). John and James McCall were nephews of Dr. George CUMMING (b. 1770 d. 1830 Manhattan). I need to know exact relationship to George Cumming in order to further my Cumming research to learn both his parentage and identity of his 1st wife--my direct ancestral grandmother. His 2nd wife was Margaret GALLAGER. I don't know whether George, his 1st wife or 2nd' wife's sister md a McCall, making the two brothers nephew to George Cumming. If it was his through his 1st wife, it would provide her identity or get me closer to learning that. If anyone has knowledge of these two McCall brothers, a McCall family history or genealogy listing them, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
