Dona Alice Leach m1 Lon McCaleb possibly in Arkansas, Texas or Oklahoma. She was born in 1885 in Washington County, Arkansas but I believe that the family moved either to Texas or to Oklahoma where she may have met and married Lon McCaleb.
I know nothing of Lon's family but by 1941 he died in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, California. She died in the same place in 1975.
They had at least one child, Lon McCaleb, Jr., who died in San Francisco in 1999. I have no idea if he had married or if he had children. Before his mother's death, they shared the same address in Santa Rosa.
Dona also had a daughter named Verbla but I don't know if her father was Lon McCaleb or Dona's second husband, Ralph Havenstrite. Verbla m. Mr. Albright and lived in Alameda (California) at the time of her mother's death.
I could find no obit for Lon McCaleb, Sr., in Santa Rosa and the obit for L. McCaleb, Jr. was very short and gave no good genealogy information!. Can anyone help me with this family?
