The following obituaty was sent to me a number of years ago. I thought I would post it in the event it might be of use to someone:
Guy McCain Succumbs in Parker
Parker -- Funeral services for Guy G. McCain, 75, who died Thursday at his home here, will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the First Methodist Church.
The Rev. Paul H. Alexander will officiate. Burial will be in the Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Yuma.
Mr. McCain, a native of Texas, had lived in this area 24 years. Until his retirement in 1955, he worked as a supervisor for Arizona Motor Vehicle Department 15 years.
Mr. McCain was a retired vice president of the Crouthers State Bank of Somerton; a director of the Parker Lions Club for 15 years; president of the Northern Yuma County School Board for five years; a member of Black Mountain Lodges 42 and 44, Order of Eastern Star, and Armstrong Lodge 445, in Texas.
Survivors are his wire, Lillian R.; a son, Lynton G.; a sister, Mrs. Ida Bell Baker; and his 98-year-old mother, Minnie May Field McCain, all of Yuma.
