As followup to my earlier message: Found on microfilm of York Co. SC court records for 1807, an index entry for "Henry McAheren" which mentions "Elias Davidson, Guardian." Case 66, File 3149. Suspect this could be the Henry McCaghren later in Lowndes Co., AL and that he could possibly be another child of Henry and Margaret, born after their arrival in the U.S., prior to Henry's death. Does anyone have access to York Co., SC records who can shed more light on the particulars?
