Thank you for your reply. Although researching generally for info re: McBurney family I am specifically interested in a family of possibly 5 brothers, John b. County Down, Ireland, and married to Kernighan, and Charles, married to Skillen. Possibly 3 other brothers, names unknown, to Canada also. Time is short tonight but glad to forward basic dates etc. if you are interested. Have corresponded with a person in Scotland who does research who has found families in 1851 census of Scotland. Let me know if you would like further info.
