The following inquiry and information was received from a cousin living in Ballymena, County Antrim, Belfast, North Ireland, UK It concerns a sister of my paternal grandmother, Agnes Mcrea Marshall, named Mary Ellen McCrea who was born in Ballymena 22 July 1869 who emigrated to the United States and lived near ( how near is not defined) my grandmother who lived in Elmhurst, Queens, New York City

Mary Ellen McCrea married Robert McBurney from County Down in Northern Ireland. Married before or after emigration to the USA is not stated. In the United States:

Mary Ellen McCrea McBurney died in 1921. She had two children by Rober McBurney. Helen McBurney 1901-1984 who never married. Robert McBurney 1904-1961 had two daughters.
Their names were not provided.

I would welcome information from a McBurney who can help connect the dots. The McBurneys from County Down, North Ireland were a prolific lot.

George M. Mashall E-Mail: I am 88 years old and may be moving to another planet any day now. I would be grateful for a timely response.
