Hello Lori
You would think that there would be some kind of a connection being both McBurneys and English. Truth is I really don't have much on that line of my family tree. All that I know is that my gg grandmother Anna may have come to Pittsburgh Pa after her sister Cathrine and John McBurney came to America because they wern't allowed to get married in Ireland. The only other English sibling that I've found was a brother who was with My Anna and their mother Mary in England before they came to Pittsburgh. I've just recently found out about Catherine and John Mcburney from a woman in Ohio but haven't heard anymore from her. I can't seem to find out where in Ireland the Englishs and McBurneys where from and I'm stuck right there. Well That abt all I know.
