Well I think we might have a match. I have no information about Georg William McBurney, I do have one in the family that was probably born about the right time and lived as a child in Guernsey Co OH. That said I'd say it's probably (but not 100%) the right person.

Again, I don't have anything about George and his decendents, but here is what I know:

George William McBurney was the 2nd son of William and Malinda (Gooderel) McBurney. He had an older sister Phebe and a younger brother John. He also had a 1/2 sister Odessa from his fathers second marriage to Louise Kiel.

William (born Feb 8, 1925) was 9th child of John and Anne (Bowers , though I've also seen Dawson) McBurney.

I'm decended from William's oldest brother James McBurney.

I'd love to exchange any more detailed information you might have about Georges William's portion of the Family.

John McBurney emmigrated to America in the early 1800's with 2 brothers from County Down, Ireland.
