James McBurney with Temperance and 7 children were on the 1840 Ogle Co., IL Census located in Washington City or twp. I don't seem to have the 1860 Census but he he is on the 1856 Iowa State Census in Powshiek Co. with Temperance, Elijah, Moses, Solon, Corintha, Laura and a 5 yr old female named ?Anneta Jane??. Clark, Lucinda, William and James M. are not with him. Mary E. and Angeline are there in the household of Isaac Rosecrans and Euphemia. Sarah Ann and Guyone had been adopted by Abrahom Smith in Ohio. James and Temperance died in Victor, Powshiek Co., Ia. I did not find the family in Nebraska on the 1880 census but some of them were there on the 1900.
