Alison,
Easter died in 1882, she is buried in Old Huron cemetery, in Atchison county. The Sabina Howell is my G.G. Grandmother. Pretty much the whole family is buried there, along with some Fisher and Greenawalts, they also coming from Fayette co. they are in the Howell family plot, I have not found a relation to these families but am sure there is one as there is also a Sabina Greenawalt, and I am assuming my G.G.Grandmother was probably named for her.My Howell people were Innkeepers in Uniontown, fayette co. and Henry Fisher was a store keeper. Easter and Amos' oldest son Nathaniel married Georgianna Greenawalt, the granddaughter of the Fishers. But Henry Fisher was buried in the Howell family plot before they were married, so I feel there is probably another connection. I do not have a cemetery book for Atchison county, as I am near enough to go there, but you can bet I will be watching for the Dougan name. I also would like to add your name to my address book in case I find anything. My e-mail is schaefer@wamego.net. Thanks for the info.
Vicki
