my McBurneys came from the County of Antrim. Hugh was the father/husband of the branch I am researching and I believe they came from Antrim possibly sidetracking to Ireland from Scotland because of some trouble. Hugh would have been born approx 1798. Hugh married a Rachell (nee Bell?) and had several children starting in c.1828. I believe Hugh's father was James and had a brother called James too.
Any help??
