Richard A. McBurney was the eldest child of John and Eliza Ann (Angus). John and Eliza were married on 31 May 1838 in Guernsey Co.,OH. John was born on 23 May 1817 in Wheeling Twp.,Belmont Co.,OH and died 23 Mar.1888 in Lore City,Guernsey Co.,OH. John's parents were John (B.~1772 Co.Down,IRE, D.9 Sep.1847 Guernsey Co.,OH) and Anne (Dixon?)(B.25 Nov.1784 PA, D. 1855 Guernsey Co.). John and Anne had 10 children; their daughter Mary is my ancestor.
