Mary Ann was the granddaughter of Robert McBurnie...born in Fairgirth, Colvend, Scotland in 1754. He died Jan 7th, 1841 in Nova Scotia, Canada.
He is buried in Waldegrave, Col Co.
He was married to Mary Mattatall, born 1763, died in 1807. Presumably Robert remarried to A Mary Cochrane, born 1797 in New Annan, N.S.
