Did any of the branches of this McBrien/McBrian/McBriant family settle in Ohio?

I have recently begun researching a friends family. I have names as far back as John McBriant, born 2 Apr 1822 in Ohio. I have located them in 1900 in Warren County, although I think there may be some in Clinton County, OH also.

The family bible spells the name McBRIANT, and then it changed to McBRYANT.

Just hoping that there may be some connection here.
