According to the 1850 Census, Casey Co KY, my Mary McBride (Purdom) was born (17 Aug) 1777, MD. Bible record abstract says her father John McBride, d a/18 July 1824,Stokes Co NC, wife Henrietta. Could never find any McBrides in MD that would fit. There is also a Hugh McBride from MD.
