Samuel McBride(1777-?)&Mary Cook-Rockingham Cty NC

I have the following children for Samuel McBride and Mary Cook of Rockingham County, NC.
2)John C (1804-?)
8)Lewis Hawkins(1815-?)
Samuel is listed on the 1800 Rockingham County census. Can anyone identify the second child, John C?? I am trying to locate the father of John McBride who married Elizabeth Smith "Betsy" about 1829.
Also listed in 1800 is Isaiah McBride, who I think later moved to TN, Francis McBride and John McBride. I think that these McBrides were related to Manasses McBride(1728, Ireland-after 1799)
Family of Manasses McBride and ?? Austen
1)William(1753-1818)m. Keziah Cockerham(1753-1836)
2)Daniel(?-1820)m. Elizabeth
3)James(1750-1808)m. Sarah
4)Isaiah(?-?)died in TN
I also think that Manasses had a brother named John(1735-1824)died in Stokes County, NC. The family story has always been passed through many generations is that there were three brothers who sailed from Ireland after their father died and they had collected their money from the estate. These brothers started in VA and later settled on the NC/VA border. They operated a mill together somewhere near the Dan River. They were very intelligent and wise men filled with alot of PRIDE !!!
If you can connect with this family, I would greatly appreciate any information you can provide. John McBride & Elizabeth Smith are my g.g.g.grandparents and I would love to add to the tree !!!

Best Of Luck,
