Beatrice McBride Burnham/Alexander McBride
I am looking for information on a Charles Burnham and wife Beatrice McBride Burnham (both probably born about 1880)and who were living on Geranium Street in Washington, DC in the 1920s.Their son Charles was also living in Washington when my wife (Martha McBride Jenkins, b. 1941) visited with her mother in the 1940s.We are interested in the McBride connection.Beatrice was a descendant of one of the McBride brothers who immigrated in the late 1840s -- possibly Nathaniel Alexander McBride (b. 1839)-- usually known as Alex or Alexander.
Alexander's parents were Robert Archibald McBride and Ruth Kirker from County Antrim; and children who immigrated included:Gilbert (b. 1827); Sarah (b. 1832), John B. (b. Jan 27, 1835 -- he's my wife's ancestor); Robert Archibald (Arch) (b: 1837); Nathaniel Alexander (above; and Rebecca (d. 1873 in Ohio).
Any clues would be appreciated.
