Hello Corrie,

Glad to see you on here. :-) Yes, I knew your father "many years ago". I am from Allagash and remember Roy quite well. He, Earl Kelly and Ward McB always played their music together. Roy with his guiter, and if I remember correctly, Ward also played the guiter. Earl played the fiddle. The last time I saw your father was at his sister, Jennie's and Romeo Jackson's wedding anniversary, at the Allagash High School gym. He was playing with a group there and I have them on video. I always loved their music. "Real Country" :-) It is a shame that they never made records together. I was very sorry to hear of your father's death. I have never met your mother. If I can be of help to you with info on your father's family, let me know. Maybe we can help one another. I am still researching the McBreairtys also.
