Hi cousin Frances,
In doing a search for Walter McBeth, I saw your posting and realized we're kin. The Walter McBeth you're refering to was born abt. 1805 in Moore Co., NC and was married to Mary Hardy. His father was also named Walter McBeth, born between 1770 & 1780.He died in Pike Co., AL in 1846. I descend through your Walter's sister, Annie Jane McBeth who married James Barber (my great-grandmother was a Barber). Most of that family also lived and died in Leake County, MS.I didn't have your Emma Sophia listed in my data, but I had an "Emily McBeth" born about 1856.Could she be the same one or was Emma her younger sister?Anyway, I can email you a GEDCOM if you'd like.
