Cannot verify if your Molly/Mary/Margaret McBeth Nichol is in my family of McBeths or not. I am having a difficult time tracing this line. My MacBeth/McBeths lived on the Westmoreland/Fayette Co. border in Pennsylvania. I have only been able to go back to my gggrandmother Margaret L. MacBeth (1851-1905) and husband Frances L. MacBeth(1857-1931). Not even sure if my MacBeths are from Ireland or Scotland and their is contradiction in family records as to the spelling being recorded both as MacBeth and McBeth. My only known MacBeths are buried in the family plot PORTER-MACBETH in Scottdale, Westmoreland Co., PA. If you come across any of the following MacBeths in addition to the above mentioned in your research, please let me know - that may be our link. Mabel C. MacBeth Porter(1877-1930), John F. MacBeth(1875-1861), C. Russell MacBeth(1889-1924), Otis B. MacBeth(1886-1938), William H. MacBeth(1852-1929). I believe that Westmoreland and Fayette county during this time period was all considered Cumberland County.
