William and Matthias were the sixth and seventh of ten children born to James and Eleanor McBee.

William b. 1825 Franklin Co. TN
d. 19 May 1848 San Augustine, TX

Matthias b. 1827 TN
d. 16 July 1848 New Orleans, LA

Both served in the Mexican War
