African American McBees, SC 1800's

My apologies for not having any information on your search; however, I am definitely a black descendant of Vardry McBee, 1775-1864.As was customary masters many, many times raided their slave quarters and had sex with female property; sometimes consentual and many, many times raped.
Sometimes the masters' wives were aware of their husbands' visits to the slave quarters and others were not.
My grandmother, died in 1993, often told us how her mother's grandmother had to permit her master's (Vardry McBee) white children from white wife, Jane, on one breast for milk and her own children (with Vardry McBee) on the other breast (another custom). She had more than enough milk.
I do not have the slave mother's name nor do I have her daughter's name (Vardry's daughter). This beautiful young lady married or becamed involved with a young man who resembled a Hasidic Jew.From their union there were two daughters.Their mother died when they were very young. After their mother died their father disappeared. He either left voluntarily, became sick with amnesia, was killed, etc.The list goes on and on.During those years anything could have happened to him.
I do have her daughters' names (Annie Elizabeth Goins and Mary Goins). My greatgrandmother was Annie. This beautiful young lady married Wilton Jones and their marriage produced Azerine Elizabeth Jones.
My grandmother also told us how the black and white McBees would meet at JC Pennys "and you never did see such hugging and kissing".This was Greenville, South Carolina.Apparently each was keenly aware of the other during the circa 30's, 40's, and 50's.I think we are less aware of each other now. This is too bad.
My apologies for not being much help but now you do have additional information. It was true that some slaves took on the names of their masters; however, many many more took their names because they were actual children of their masters.
Hope you find the names you are looking for.
