with regard to William McBean transported Jacobite on Friendship to MD in 1716. His indenture was sold to Phile. Lloyd Esq. for 7 years...along with John Degedy and Thomas Lowry (a maybe ancestor of ours) This information came from ISTG ships passenger manifests compiled by Hugh Tornabene. Also arrest orders and other goodies. Do you know what happened to William in MD? I will forward any information I dig up. good luck
