Hello,
I need a favor, anyone with access to census reports.
Please look up the following for me.
I found Edward McBay and family in the 1850 Lincoln County, Tennessee Census
I have a copy of it and it reads as follows;

Edward McBay age looks like 23? But in 1870 he is listed as 54 and Jane 45.
Jane McBay wife age 29
George 6
Samuel 4

1870 all I have is a copy of part of the Index wit Ed and family.
In the 1870 Lincoln County Census Index reads as follows:
Ed 54
Jane 45
Samuel 21

I can not find George anywhere????? By 1870, he might already be out on his own, but can't find him in Lincoln County, Tennessee Census under the McBay spelling.

I would like for someone to look up Edward McBay in the 1860 Census of Lincoln County, Tennessee and see if George is listed with the family. According to the 1850 Census his age should be around 16 in 1860 so he would most likely still be at home if he were living. If he is not listed in the 1860 census then he might not be living which would explain why I can't find him.
Thanks in advance.
Diana
