Amy, I sure hope that this reaches you. I am wondering if you ever found out who the parents of your Wilburn/William was? I have a Will/William in my McBay line....actually more than one and in some documents I find a Wilburn and wonder if he is one in the same. My line is Houston Hugh McBay who started out in the Carolinas and then was married in Greene Co. Tennessee then settled in Lincoln Co. Tennessee. Could we both be researching the same line? DBMcBay
