Hello, I found your message searching for a Samuel and Lleavise McBay of Lincoln Co. Tenn. I hope that it is the same Samuel and Leavy McBay of Lincoln County Tennesse that my husband is related to. Her name is spelled different as I have it as Arleva McBay. This info was taken from a tombstone located in Campbell Cemetery in Lincoln County, Tennessee. Samuel and Arleva are my husband's great-grandparents. His grandfather's name is John Thomas McBay birth date unknown but death date is December 28, 1946. The tombstone for Arleva reads as follows:

Arleva McBay
wife of Sam
died May 15, 1910
aged 65 years

There is more, the rock is a small double one and the second part reads as follows:

Fannie McBay
daughter of S & A McBay
died August 1, 1904
aged 26

There is no marker for Samuel, I guess the family couldn't afford one at the time. All I know is that he buried under a big oak tree and that is where I found this tombstone.

I am including a message that I have sent out to others searching McBay ancestors with more info for you. I think you will see that some of the names match yours. Please reply to this message and let me know what you think, you are the best link I've had so far and am excited about finding it. Thanks dbmcbay Below is my message:
