ACCIDENT at FOREST HILL -- July 31 --
-The tunnel of the Maine Mining Company at this place caved in today burying 2 men, named Joseph McAVOY and Charles McFEE. The former was instantly killed. After 4 hours digging McFEE was taken out with both legs broken. James GARRETT was working in the tunnel also, but escaped unhurt. The body of McAVOY has not yet bee recovered.
