Hi Bob,
I saw your message about the Wisconsin McAuly's and wonder if there is any connection to Mary Jane MacAuley from Kenosha, Wisconsin. She was born in Armoy, county of Antrim, Ireland on May 20, 1837 and died in Kenosha, WI, Jan 3, 1914. Prior to the Civil War she was married to my GrUncle, Frederick Smith who died in 1863 and they had a daughter who married Ernst Miller and last known to be in Chicago. After the death of Frederick Smith she married John Mindermann and had three sons: Charles G., John W. and Fred G. Mindermann all of Kenosha. I was interested in finding the daughter in Chicago.
