My gggrandfather, Francis McAuley was born in Antrim Ireland, Layde Parish in 1757. He, his wife Mary McCambridge and a few children emigrated to Railton, Ont. Canada around 1800. There they had several more children.
Grave markers in Railtons St. Patricks Catholic cemeteries have my early ancestors with the McCauley spelling of the name.
If they are brothers, their mother was having babies for almost 20 years (or maybe different mothers).
I also would like to find the names of francis' parents.
I don't know about any siblings he might have had, but who knows, this could be a match.
