JACKSONVILLE - Vera Marie McArtor, 97, of Jacksonville died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, at Jacksonville Convalescent Center.
She was born April 27, 1909, in Mason, the daughter of Solom Bert and Ella Fulton Shane. She married Harvey McArtor in 1932; he died in 1981.
Mrs. McArtor was a member of Brooklyn United Methodist Church.
Survivors: son, Jerry Lee (wife, Mary Ruth) McArtor of Jacksonville; daughter, Wanda Jean Mayberry of Jacksonville; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services: 9 a.m. Friday, Diamond Grove Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville is in charge of arrangements.
