Hi Doug,
I have written the story but I'm still interested in results of any McArthurs who have DNA samples taken.
I had mine done, but none of the close matches that turned up were McArthurs or had ancestors from Mull, although some had Scottish ancestry.
The Samuel name is interesting. Although there are no
Samuels on my family tree, there were Samuel McArthurs connected with Ardchorik farm in Torosay Parish, Mull where one of my ancestors came from.
