I'm working on getting a male McArthur cousin to submit his Y DNA, however I haven't heard back from him yet. When or if I do, I'll drop you a line (I realize that your message was posted last year, so perhaps you've already published your article).

P.S. My maternal grandfather is a McArthur whose line goes back to Islay, Scotland. He and his father (Samuel) were born in Oro Township, Simcoe County, Ontario. His great-grandfather, Peter, was born in Islay ca. 1810.
