I last left a message on this forum two years ago and thought I would try again. I am looking for a William McArthur born in Wisconsin around 1870. He married Louanna Self in Stringtown Oklahoma around 1890 and disappeared around 1905..I have found three possible candidates from searching the 1870 and 1880 census records. A William Grizzle was born in 1870 to James and Isabell McArthur in Winebago County. Another William Grizzle was born in 1873 to Neil McArthur in Waupaca County and a third was born in 1868 to John McArthur in Rock county.
This William McARthur was my great-grandfather. If you know anything about any one of these three, please contact me. Your information may help me find him or, at least, narrow my search...I do have a photograph of this person taken around 1900 or so...Thanks
