Wonder if these could be connected: My ancestor was John McNulty, born in Kentucky about 1813. His father's name was apparently McAnulty. Couldn't have been too many McAnultys in that part of the world at that time. I picked this up from the McNulty family forum:

Jas C McAnulty Sr (13JUL1784)-(23JAN1852)
Mgt (Wiley) McNulty (18JAN1788)-(29NOV1859)

The above couple buried in Union Cemetery, Randolph CO, IL. James' father possibly John McAnulty.
