We're trying to find any of our mother's family. She was born in 1920 in Tippecanoe, Ill. Her mother's maiden name was NUGENT after whom her brother was named. Serving in US Marines he is believed lost at Pearl Harbour. Her elder sister, ELEANOR, was last heard of in Phoenix, Az.

Whilst serving as a Wren she met Pa at Pensacola & sailed for Southampton to get married over here.

We know so little, only that she had an Aunt Mary on a farm, we think in Ohio, with whom mother lived after her parents died, & that she had a cousin Dick & a cousin Iris (?).

It is thought her father known as'Mac' or 'Mic' Mcandrew was some sort of civil engineer & we think he came from a large family.

We know that a Navy friend of Nugent's tried to see mother whilst he was here just after the war but tho' he found the family, he had to return before meeting her.

We'd love to know if we have any American cousins.....
Cathy, Norwich, UK
